LeBron James had nothing but love for Jay Z after winning his first NBA Championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but his stepfather Da Real Lambo now claims the rapper might not feel the same way.
In a video captured by Instagram account The Shade Room, James’ stepfather drops a conspiracy theory about why Jay Z and Beyoncé really attended Game 6 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland.
“This a real exclusive announcement,” he begins, shouting out the Cavs as the champs before launching into his speech. “So I saw Jay Z and Beyoncé come to Game 6, I don’t know what reason they came,” he said. “We still won Game 6. I really felt like he came to see if LeBron James was gonna lose at his house to a real pretty boy a– n—- named Stephen Curry.”
Da Real Lambo continues, “Jay Z, to me, is one of the biggest haters of them all, and I really feel like he came in our arena, him and Beyoncé, Game 6. They had to get all that fake attention sh–. But they really came to see if LeBron James would lose a championship. We ain’t losin’ s—, homie! None of y’all n—– bigger than LeBron.”
The former co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets and James have long appeared to be close. At the time Jay Z and his wife showed up for Game 6, it seemed as though their presence was merely an extension of the support both men have offered one another throughout the years. But who knows. Let the theories abound.
